Update: 3:50PM WHILE the weatherman predicted occasional showers over the group later on this evening, it did not stop people from coming out early to enjoy the good weather in the Capital City.

According to the Fiji Weather Office bulletin issued this morning, a weak trough of low pressure to the north of the group is expected to drift south and affect the group from today.

"Occasional showers is expected over the eastern parts of Viti Levu, Kadavu, Vanua Levu and spreading over Taveuni, Lau and Lomaiviti groups."

Elsewhere in the Fiji Group, expect fine weather apart from afternoon or evening showers, the weatherman says
