THE Prime Minister's political party FijiFirst is now a registered political party.

This was confirmed by the registrar of political parties, Mohammed Saneem, yesterday.

The party has been registered as a political party under the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding and Disclosures) Decree 2013.

The registrar said the FijiFirst Party could now operate and hold itself as a political party under section 16 of the Decree.

Party leader Rear Admiral (Ret) Voreqe Bainimarama said he was glad to receive the news that his party had been registered.
