YPCL makes record dividend payment

Update: 4:15PM THE Yaqara Pastoral Company Limited presented government with a $3.3million dividend payment this afternoon in Suva.

YPCL board director Simon Cole said the dividend payment was for the years 2011 and 2012 and represented 100 per cent of the companys net profit after tax.

Minister for Public Enterprises Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said this was the largest payout by YPCL.

The company is paying more than $4.3million in total dividends to government, the first payment was made today while the second payment of more than $1.04m would be made in July.
