Plan to strengthen human resources

PLANS are in the pipeline to upgrade and develop the LICI branch in the Northern Division.

Company general manager Vimlesh Kumar Dhar, who was in Labasa last week, said part of the plan was to expand the branch and increase its human resources.

"We are also planning to have premium collections done here in Labasa instead of relying on our office in Suva," he said.

"We currently have 18 agents in the North and their work has been further boosted with our newly-launched online system.

"One of our main focus this year is to upgrade our services here and one such step we have taken is connecting the Labasa office to Lautoka and Suva through our online system."

Mr Dhar said this was all part of efforts to provide efficient and reliable services to their clients.
