By TEVITA VUIBAU
Monday, May 26, 2014

Update: 4:08PM ASSOCIATED cloud and showers will affect the group until tomorrow as a result of a weak trough of low pressure approaching Fiji.

The Fiji Meteorological Service says occasional showers are expected to affect most places but will gradually clear from the west overnight.

Cool nights are also predicted

Moderate easterly winds becoming predominantly southeast from tomorrow, the weatherman said.

As for Wednesday, the forecaster predicts fine weather apart from brief showers over the interior and eastern parts of the larger islands. Cool at night.
