By SHAYAL DEVI
Monday, May 26, 2014

Update: 10:36AM PEOPLE living in some parts of Nadi and Lautoka are still without water as a result of continuing repair work, says Water Authority of Fiji.

In a statement, WAF said water was restored to most customers by 5pm yesterday and progressive restoration would happen through until today.

Lautoka and Nadi have been without water since Friday night as WAF repaired three major leaks from Vaturu to the Nagado Treatment Plant.

WAF said water carts would continue to supply affected customers.

People have been advised to call 3346777 to report their water needs. Vodafone and Inkk users can call or text 5777.
