Drug find: 50 plants uprooted in Ra

Update: 12:52PM FIFTY plants believed to be marijuana were uprooted from a village in Ra yesterday.

In a statement, police spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the plants were seized during an operation called Viribai carried out by the Fiji Police Force's Special Response Team.

He said the operation also included awareness campaign in villages.

The unit would be carrying out campaigns in the province of Ra and Wainibuka district in Tailevu.
