Sunday, May 25, 2014

IT was indeed a night of glamour and class last night as contestants for this year's Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus Festival took to the stage at none other than the Grand Pacific Hotel.

The categories included Miss Teen Hibiscus, Miss Hibiscus and King contestants and the theme for this year's festival is "Climate Change — Affecting Human Lives".

When asked about the quality of contestants this year, Hibiscus Events Group Incorporated chairman Hirdesh Prasad said Fijians were in for a treat.

"The contestants this year are of great calibre and I have every confidence in their abilities. The confidence levels are terrific."

There are 17 queen contestants and 15 king contestants.
