Forecast: Expect cool night

Update: 6:59PM AN intensive high pressure system to the far southwest of Fiji directing a cool southerly wind flow over the group is expected to affect the country tomorrow.

A weather bulletin issued from the Fiji Meteorological Service at 3.30pm today states: "Cloudy periods with brief showers over the interior and the southern parts of the larger islands are expected by midnight tomorrow."

"Elsewhere will be fine. Cool night."

For Friday, the forecaster predicts cloudy periods with brief showers over the interior and eastern parts of the larger islands.  

For Rotuma, "expect occasional showers, heavy at times and few thunderstorms".
