Expect cool nights as rain clears

By MERE NALEBA
Monday, May 19, 2014

Update: 2:56PM THE Nadi weather office says the rainy weather experienced over the weekend is now over.

However, this does not rule out the possibility of light showers in the interior and eastern parts of the larger islands.

A weather bulletin issued at 10.30am states: "An intense high pressure system to the far southwest of Fiji directs a cool southerly wind flow over the group."

For those on the island of Rotuma, expect occasional rain, which is heavy at times and few thunderstorms.

The weather forecaster also predicts cool nights as the sky clears up.
