RAM Khelawan goes into the DHL Global Forwarding Seniors Golf Day Championship next Sunday as the firm favourite at the Natadola Bay Championship Course.

The 57-year-old has been in fine form recently. Khelawan won the A Grade nett title at the inaugural Srixon Cleveland Classic at the Nadi Airport Golf Club last week finishing ahead of a few national elite squad members.

Khelawan who won the Nadi Airport Golf Club Summer Cup competition this year said he was ready for the challenge.

"The Natadola course is tough," he said.

"I'm perfecting my drives which will be important during match day. I played a round of 80 at Natadola the last time."

Khelawan, the former Plantation Island Resort Open winner will face stiff competition from Rajen Singh of Ba.
