Rain continues, flash-flooding possible

Update: 11:57AM LOCALISED heavy rain may lead to flash-flooding in some parts of the country, the Nadi Weather Office has warned.

In a special weather bulletin issued at 11am, the office says a heavy rain warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji Group.

"An intense trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain remains slow moving over Fiji. It is expected to affect the group till Sunday," the bulletin said.

The weather office has forecast periods of rain, heavy at times, and squally thunderstorms.
