THE annual Sonasali Island Resort-sponsored Sunny West Bowling Carnival which starts at the Nadi Sports Club next weekend has attracted overwhelming response.

A total of 30 overseas players have confirmed entry.

With big interest from the locals as well, the organisers have been forced to allocate more pools to accommodate the players.

Tournament chairman Shorab Khan said players from Australia and New Zealand would spice up the six-day event.

Khan said the total prizes were worth $15,000.

"More players have registered this year," he said.
