THE Rarawai Penang Cane Producers Association is preparing to usher in change for a new direction after the ousting of former president Gyan Singh last month.

Executive manager Sanjina Narain said the association was focused on getting a revamped constitution passed before proceeding with projects previously agreed to by the general assembly.

"Once we hold elections and appoint office bearers, we will continue with the projects that have been established which will benefit the wider cane community," Ms Narain said.
