Nine to attend young leaders training in Japan

Update: 12:00PM NINE participants attended a pre-departure orientation this morning in Suva for a three-week training program in Japan.

The training for young leaders for Pacific Island countries/local governance is part of the Japan International Cooperation Agency's efforts to build human resources capabilities in Fiji and the Pacific.

The Fiji participants join nine more participants from around the Pacific.

Their training begins from on May 20 and ends on June 6.
