Union office bearers reinstated

Update: 1:08PM All office bearers for the National Union of Public Workers have been reinstated over an hour ago.

One hundred and eighty (180) members turned up for the AGM at the lower Civic Auditorium in Suva.

Korolevu/Tailevu branch manager Waisake Karavaki was reinstated as the president after acting as the interim president for the past three years.

 Alfred Manuel the general secretary for the past 20 years has been reinstated with Jalendra Singh as the treasurer.

  Roshni Chand, a new office bearer, who will act as the assistant general secretary is also the treasurer and manager for the credit union.
