Tokatoka Resort Nadi, general manager Rohit Kant said additional plans were in the pipeline to push the resort into the international tourism market.

"We have just had $100,000 upgrading of our kitchen where the equipment came in a month ago," he said.

"In the near future, we are planning to develop our kitchen and lobby area.

"We would also consider hiring a food and beverages manager and an executive chef."

He said when he joined the resort, it had been listed as 14th out of the 27 hotels in the Nadi area on travel website TripAdvisor.

"Now, it is listed as number one, which is a huge boost for us.

"Also, Warwick as a group would be taking part in the Fijian Tourism Expo and this will also launch us in the international market."
