Police drive to select 155 new recruits

Update: 2:03PM THE Fiji Police Force is recruiting more personnel and this time they will be looking to shortlist 555 for the basic training.

Following an intensive seven-day recruitment drive that started in the Eastern Division last month, Deputy director planning Assistant Superintendent of Police Aporosa Lutunauga said the response had been overwhelming.

The 555 shortlisted candidates will undergo the next phase of personal interviews expected to take place on May 19.

Of this, 155 successful candidates will be chosen to march-in for a six-month basic training course in June.
