Man denies allegations

IT was a threat to kill by the use of witchcraft, the Suva Magistrates Court was told yesterday as a trial of a man charged with annoying any person started.

Salen Sharma denied the allegation he uttered obscenities at the complainant and threatened to bring demise to the complainant's son by the use of witchcraft.

The first prosecution witness, Lawrence Singh gave sworn evidence that he heard the accused threaten his father.

The case will be called again next month.
