Teleni commends institute

Update: 12:51PM THE Confucius Institute at the University of the South Pacific this morning hosted Fijis Ambassador to China, Esala Teleni.

Mr Teleni was greeted by members of the institute, including Chinese Professor Denggui Li who said the institute had grown enormously since its establishment in 2012.

He toured the building and commended Prof Li, his team and the university on the joint work they had put into managing the institute and encouraging more Fijians and Pacific Islanders to learn the Chinese language.
