Ahmed wins Nadi title

NATIONAL squad member Zoheer Ahmed won the Metalworks and Joinery Limited-sponsored stableford event at the Nadi Airport Golf Club course yesterday.

He scored 41 points in the 18 holes competition.

Club president Munesh Prasad was second with 39 points.

Mahesh Prasad claimed third spot with 38 points.

Former FIFA certified referee Mahend Singh was fourth with 36 points while Shalen Naidu finished fifth with 34 points.

Lautoka Central Primary School teacher Roneel Prakash won the nearest to the pin prize and also claimed the longest drive.
