Police charge minibus driver over fatal crash

Update: 3:46PM POLICE have charged the driver of the minibus which was involved in a fatal accident earlier this week in Sigatoka.

Spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirms that driver, Jone Matakula, has been charged with one count of causing death by dangerous driving and three counts of dangerous driving occasioning serious bodily harm.

He appeared at the Sigatoka Magistrates Court yesterday and has been further remanded at the Natabua Corrections until May 14.
