Friday, May 02, 2014

THE final 10 contestants have been selected to vie for the 2014 Miss World Fiji crown.

Miss World Fiji national director Andhy Blake said choosing only 10 from a pool of beautiful and talented girls who auditioned was a challenge.

He said they were confident that one of the girls from the final 10 could win the 2014 Miss World title.

"The ones chosen really had to stand out. Natalie and Aisea Konrote, the other two judges, were unanimous on those selected."

Nine of the girls — Shayal Esther Kumar, Liku Gucake, Charlene Tafunai, Salanieta Koro, Christina Sharndil, Vasiti Radekedeke, Kelera Rokovereni, Teresia Weeks and Asena Weleilakeba are based locally while Fiji-born Bulou Rokotuiwai lives in Sydney, Australia.
