LTA registers 884 new vehicles

Update: 5:00PM THE Land Transport Authority (LTA) registered 884 brand new vehicles during the first quarter of 2014.

LTA spokesman Iliesa Sokia said the authority also registered 1343 second hand vehicles during the same period.

"The authority has set a target to register around 9000 vehicles this year," Mr Sokia said.

"The opening of more Authorised Motor Vehicle Dealer (AMVD) in the first quarter too has resulted in the high number of second hand vehicles being registered."
