Sisters make their name in the fashion world

THREE Australian-born sisters are making their name in the fashion world.

With a unique label like Huudaverti, Laurice Romeo and Jan and Christine Evans have already featured in the 2013 Full Figured Fashion Week in New York and twice in the annual Fiji Fashion Week.

The sisters — all based in different places around the world — Laurice in New York, Jan in Australia and Christine in Fiji, design men's, women's and children's clothing.

They have strong work ethics, mainly in giving back to the environment and looking after the planet for their children and generations to come. This has led them to donate 3.5 per cent of the sale price of items to a registered water-based NGO.

"Having travelled to countries where many people don't have access to clean water has shown us how we take this resource for granted," Christine said.
