Victory for Nadi in snooker

THE Mahend Deo-captained Nadi Sports Club team took out the Gounder Rentals-sponsored inter club snooker championship at the Tavua Club on Saturday.

Nadi with David Reddy, Rimal Narayan, Divesh Patel and Munesh Prasad defeated the hosts 3-1.

Tavua Club had the services of Shalen Gounder, Hemant, Ajay, Krishneel and Dhrist Chand.

In the semi-final Nadi beat Lautoka 3-1. Lautoka had Suresh Chauhan, Vinesh Prasad, Tony Cen, Raymond Reddy and Simon Reddy.

In the other semi-final Tavua edged Ba Central 3-2.

Ba Central included Ismail Wali, Mohan Singh, Ali Boy, Shanil Kumar, Salesh and Atish Charan.
