Naidau, Sili scoop second gold

Update: 12:09PM MERESEINI Naidau grabbed her second gold medal in the 2014 Coca-Cola Games after winning the girls' 3000m race this morning.

The Jasper Williams High School athlete clocked 11 minutes 11.20 seconds.

Sereana Nai of Vaturova (11 min 12.51s) and Anaseini Lewatabe of Nadarivatu (11 min 14.27s) finished second and third, respectively.

Meanwhile, Inia Sili of Suva Grammar School scooped his second gold medal in the boys' 3000m event.

He clocked a time of 9 minutes 20.93 seconds.

Kelemete Sau of Vaturova finished second on 9 min 21.65s while Avikash Lal of Ratu Navula settled for bronze medal on 9 min 25.66s.
