Rarasea wins Blue Ribbon event

Update: 9:36PM VILISONI Rarasea is the new blue ribbon recipient at this year's Coca-Cola Games.

This is after the Marist Brother High School student won the senior boys' 100m final at the ANZ stadium tonight.

Rarasea was favourite heading into the final, clocking 10.9seconds, the fastest in the heats.

He did not let his school down despite running in the 100m event for the first time at senior grade.
