Matau breaks 16-year-old record

Update: 6:26PM JOSEFA Matau broke the 16-year-old record in the Coca-Cola Games sub junior boys' long jump event.

The Natabua High School athlete managed a distance of 5.47 metres to break the old record of 5.35m set by Iftekar Ahmed of Nadi Muslim.

Samuela Tamani of QVS managed silver with a distance of 5.40m.
