Reddy wins Six Reds competition in Lautoka

SIMON Reddy won the Six Reds league round six competition at the South Seas Club in Lautoka on Wednesday.

He defeated veteran Suresh Chauhan 2-1 in the final.

In the semi-final Simon defeated his brother Raymond 2-1 while Chauhan downed Tony Cen by the same score line.

Raymond, the North West Billiards and Snooker Association tournament co-ordinator said Wednesday's event proved to be an exciting one with players from the South Seas and Lautoka Club challenging each other ahead of the Gounder Rentals Inter Club Championship at Tavua Club tomorrow.

"At the end the South Seas Club representatives bombed out at the quarter-final stage," he said.

"It is good to have healthy challenges between the two clubs in the weekly competition."


Preliminaries: Cen bt Vinesh Prasad, Chauhan bt Philip Gock, Nand bt Vikrant Sharma, Navneil Maharaj bt Paul Lusio, Simon bt Sami, Raymond bt Mohammed Imran. Quarter-finals: Cen bt Nitesh Chand, Chauhan bt Nand, Simon bt Maharaj, Raymond bt Isireli Kaci.
