THE Rakiraki Magistrates Court has ordered three juveniles accused of raping a 16-year-old on Monday be held at the Suva Boys Center until the next hearing.

Magistrate Samuela Qica also ordered that three others also alleged to have been involved in the rape incident be remanded at the Natabua Corrections Center.

Mr Qica said the matter would be transferred to the High Court in Lautoka.

A 21-year-old civil servant, a 21-year-old farmer and a 19-year-old vocational student appeared before him yesterday.

The juveniles are two Year 11 students and a 14-year-old boy who is still in primary school.

The six allegedly raped the victim in a shed.

She later reported the matter to her grandfather. The matter was then reported to the Rakiraki Police Station by the victim's mother.

The case will be called before the High Court in Lautoka on May 8.
