FIJI Roads Authority's impending tour of Nabouwalu-Dreketi Highway is to resolve higher level issues, says authority CEO Neil Cook.

Mr Cook said the purpose of the tour was to oversee the quality of the construction program and an opportunity to provide an on-site update to the media.

"Detailed inspection and supervision of the contract works is undertaken by our consulting engineers MWH on a daily basis.

"In addition, FRA laboratories carry out testing of materials and quality of construction to a rigorous program," he added.
