Labasa school celebrates facelift

Update: 2:20PM THE Australian High Commission today handed over the newly-refurbished Bulavou District School in Labasa under its Access to Quality Education Program (AQEP).

The refurbishment work on the school cost a total of $172,000.

AUSAID development programs counsellor for Fiji and Tuvalu Joanne Choe said AQEP was a five-year program worth $93million focused on improving the ability of girls and boys from poor communities, including children with disabilities.
