Police question five men over student rape

Update: 12:26PM FIVE people are in custody for the alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl in Rakiraki on Monday.

And police are searching for a 35-year-old man also believed to be involved in the incident.

Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said three of the suspects are juveniles the youngest a Class 8 student and two others Fifth Formers.

She said they are being questioned and no charges have been laid as yet.
