Resurrection, the centre of Christian faith, says priest

By LUKE RAWALAI
Sunday, April 20, 2014

Update: 4:06PM THE resurrection of Jesus Christ is the centre of Christian faith, says Labasa Holy Family Parish priest Father John Ryan.

Fr Ryan said hope and reconciliation were the two biggest messages behind Christs resurrection.

Speaking to the faithfuls yesterday he described the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the very centre of Christian faith.

He said that God declared his love for humankind by lending His dearest possession - His son to reconcile sinful man to Himself.

"It is through this man who died and rose again that God openly declared His love for the human race," he said.
