Villagers access safe drinking water

Update: 4:35PM ABOUT 400 families in Seaqaqa on Vanua Levu now have access to clean and safe water.

The water project, funded by the EU-Global Climate Change Alliance, was headed by Naushad Yakub, a post-graduate diploma in climate change student at the University of the South Pacific.

Speaking at a public lecture on campus yesterday, Mr Yakub said the project was a community resilience campaign to the impacts of climate change.
