Dutt's hope

Salaseini Moceica
Thursday, April 17, 2014

GOOD Samaritans from around the country have shown interest in helping 17-year-old Ronit Krishneel Dutt and his sick mother Gita Devi.

This newspaper highlighted last week how Ronit's ailment had not stopped him from selling sweets in Labasa to support his family.

While they have yet to receive any form of assistance, Ronit said he was relieved that people were keen to help.

"People from all walks of life are calling my mobile phone and are asking about where we are staying and the sort of help we need," he said.

"We haven't received anything yet but to answer their calls is hope for me and my mother. Right now, all I want is to have a licence and a stall to sell from at the Labasa Market."
