FIJI Corrections Service commissioner Lieutenant Colonel Ifereimi Vasu wants his senior officers to put in more effort and hard work for the remainder of the year.

Addressing his senior officers during the first quarter briefing at the Korovou Corrections Centre last Friday, Lt-Col Vasu said senior officers must play their roles well in managing their subordinates.

He added they too must manage the activities they carried out on a daily basis at various correction facilities around the country.

"I commend you for a job well done for the first quarter," he said.

"Keep up the good work but we must ensure that we are in accordance with the mandate that has been set by government for us to achieve.
