Man dies after alleged assault

Update: 2:00PM A MAN accused of practicing witchcraft died last night after he was allegedly assaulted by some men.

Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said the 49-year-old carpenter of Nawaicoba in Nadi died at the Lautoka Hospital.

She said the alleged incident happened on Monday night, adding that six men are being questioned by police in connection with the alleged incident.
