ONE hundred and fifty swimmers took part in the final meet of the 2014 Long Course Grand Prix Series on Saturday at the Damodar City Aquatic Centre on Saturday.

Fiji Swimming was pleased with the turnout and added fine weather helped swimmers do well in the day-long competition.

Temafa Yalimaiwai (Tritons) and Rosemarie Rova (Barracudas) also managed to set new records in the competition.

A total of 36 events in the boys and girls division were held in the final LC Grand Prix Series.

The next event in the Fiji Swimming calender is the Open Nationals in Suva to be held from April 25 to 27.
