Angeline Furivai, who was crowned the Miss Teen Model at the Nivea-sponsored competition last night, says it was through God that she was able to win the crown.

The 16-year-old St Joseph's Secondary School student also walked away with the Miss Personality prize during the crowning event at the Damodar City Complex.

Ms Furivai said being in the competition was a challenge but through the strong support from her family and friends she was able to win the crown.

Hannah Harness walked away with the first runner-up and Miss Photogenic prize, Annia Kafoa the second runner-up prize, while Tiara Dutta took home the People's Choice prize.
