Book reveals stories of success

Update: 2:05PM THE United Blind Persons of Fiji today launched A Stepping Stone booklet which features successful stories of visually impaired individuals who have made a name for themselves in the country.

The book features 29 stories and is funded and supported by the Australia Pacific Island Disability Support.

Australia's Minister-Counsellor in the Pacific John Davidson said Australia was committed to improving the lives of people with disability.

"We strongly support national development that reaches and benefits all citizens," Mr Davidson said.

"The Australian Government continues to be committed to working with you to ensure a disability-inclusive Fiji and Pacific."
