TOP 7s teams have qualified for today's Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s elimination stages.

Reigning champion Tokatoka Westfield Dragons under the leadership of national 7s rep Samu Saqiwa was in top form yesterday winning all their pool games.

The side thumped Vomo Blues 26-0 in the first game before outclassing Nacula Eagles 31-19 and Deuba 33-0 to top their pool.

Samisoni Viriviri's Police National has also advanced as pool winners after defeating Naviti Resort 33-0, before outclassing Lami 24-0 and later downed Momi Tigers 17-5 in their last pool game.

The Lote Rasiga-coached Red Rock team is also in the running for the $10,000 top award after winning all their pool games.

The Qauia-based side was given a good run for their money against an unknown Gumatua side but narrowly won the game 5-0 before thumping Yasawa-i-rara 35-0 and later outplayed Delainamahi Saints 14-0 in their last pool game.

Wardens Gold has also marked its dominance on Day One thumping Nasivikoso 45-0, Sofitel 17-0 and later defeating Abba Youth 15-5.

Boosted by the inclusion of former national 7s star Ilai Tinai Wardens Gold is also in contention for the top award.

Tournament organiser Mataiasi Nabau said it would be interesting to witness the battle between these giants in the final day.
