Complete tasks by June

COMMISSIONER Western Commander Joeli Cawaki has challenged the authorities and agencies in the West to complete by June up to 70 per cent of all designated tasks set by the government for the year.

Earlier this week Cdr Cawaki met provincial administrators, district officers, water authority officials and government officials in Rakiraki where progress reports were tabled.

Cdr Cawaki said although the first three months of the year were quite slow because of floods, the dengue campaign and the availability of funding, he was happy with the groundwork already laid down in the provinces in the division.

"Despite all the added tasks, we have managed to lay down the groundwork needed to reach our target by June," he said.
