Defending Nawaka champions top seed in pool one

DEFENDING champion Westfield Babas are the top seed in Pool 1 of the Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s.

The Pio Tuwai-captained side is pooled with Deuba, Nacula Eagles and Vomo Blues.

Wardens Green is the top team in Pool 2 while Yasawa Stingers are the best seeded team in Pool 3.

Army Red, Yamacia Red, Wardens Gold and Mala Young Boys are top teams in pool four, five, six and seven respectively.

Setefano Cakau's Tabadamu is the top team in Pool 8 while Hideaway Hurricanes are the top bet for Pool 9 along with Yamacia Black.

Police National is the top side in Pool 10, Army Green tops Pool 11 and Red Rock is in Pool 12.

Marist Suva, Ratu Filise, Nawaka Black and First Landing Resort are the top teams in pools 13, 14, 15 and 16 respectively.

Red Rock is pooled with Delainamahi Saints, Gusuniwai and Angel's Yasawa-i-Ra.

Team manager Malakai Yamaivava said they had played against Gusuniwai in the past and knew nothing about the other teams.

"The other teams are unknown and will be tough to play against because we know nothing about them," he said.

Men's: Pool 1: Westfield Babas, Deuba, Nacula Eagles, Vomo Blues.

Pool 2: Warden Green, Kovacake Blues, Harava Force, Rukunirara.

Pool 3: Yasawa Stingers, Bua, Vunitavola, Gaunavou(Nadro).

Pool 4: Army Red, Bainivanua, Komave, Ranadi Gusuniwai.

Pool 5: Yamacia Red, Naduruniu, Waibula, Vunaniu Babas.

Pool 6: Warden Gold, Abba Youth, Nasivikoso, Sofitel.

Pool 7: Mala YB, Nawaka White, Biausevu, Conua.

Pool 8: Tabadamu, Ulunaikau Babas, Bukuya Babas, VSM.

Pool 9: Hideaway Hurricanes, Yamacia Black, West Warden, New Horizon.

Pool 10: Police National, Momi Tigers, Naviti Resort, Lami.

Pool 11: Army Green, Muaira Dolphins, Hilton, NB Cagimaira.

Pool 12: Red Rock, Delainamahi Saints, Gusuniwai, Angel's Yasawa i Rara.

Pool 13: Marist Suva, Nalotu Seal Team, Big Bula Waves, Nawaka Stripe.

Pool 14: Ratu Filise, Kovacake White, Delasui, Vaturu Rebels.

Pool 15: Nawaka Black, Amanuca, Bemanu, Nadawa YB.

Pool 16: First Landing Resort, Coastal Jet Primer, Eltham Babas, Jet Ski Adventures.

Golden Oldies: Pool 1: Suva President, Westin, Nawaka.

Pool 2: Westfield Babas, Mana Exile, Tavanaki.
