Fiji student in India hospital

A FIJIAN student studying in India is in stable condition in India after she was involved in a motorcycle accident in Pune, India.

Sheenal Mani is a first year student at Fergusson College and was involved in an accident on April 6.

She was the second rider on a motorcycle that was hit by another motorcycle.

Ambassador to India Yogesh Karan confirmed Ms Mani is admitted at Ratna Memorial Hospital.

"As advised by Dr Madhavi of RMH, Ms Mani is under the care of physician Dr Firodiya and is reportedly in stable condition," Mr Karan said.
