Friday, April 11, 2014

GOVERNMENT is set to embark on a $2million electrification project to cover houses from Tavua and Ra to Korovou in Tailevu.

This was revealed yesterday at the Ra Provincial Council meeting by Commissioner Western Commander Joeli Cawaki at Dadamu, Nanukuloa.

This is in addition to a rural solar project for 1000 houses for those that fall out of the Fiji Electricity Authority grid, especially in the interior areas of Ba and Ra.
