Update: 12:03PM THE LTA will soon introduce its latest red and speed light surveillance gadgets.

Known as the Redflex Red, the gadgets are a fixed traffic enforcement solution and radar technology combined with high resolution digital cameras to detect and photograph intersection red light or combined red light and speed offences.

Authority spokesman Iliesa Sokia said two possible locations on Viti Levu have been identified for the installation of such devices.

The system is highly customisable with a wide range of options and accessories available to enable users to configure the system that best suits their requirements, he said.
