THREE players who have just returned from the Oceania Championships are among the top contenders for the Six Red Open Snooker Tournament this weekend.

The Tropicx Design Studio-sponsored tournament will be played at the host Nadi Sports Club and co-host Nadi Club.

National number one, two and three — Jiten Prasad, Praneel Singh and Deepak Jai Ram — competed in the Oceania Championship in Australia last week.

Singh said the exposure at the event was a good build-up for him and his colleagues.

"Prasad won two games and qualified for the knockout while I won two games as well but lost on frame countback," he said.
