A MEDICAL team from the US is in the Northern Division conducting free general clinic and surgeries for members of the public.

Ministry of Health spokeswoman Evlyn Mani yesterday said the team's services ranged from general health care to eye-related surgeries.

"The team is conducting general medical clinic and plastic, restorative, cataract and optometric surgeries to name a few," she said.

"The team members are currently at the Labasa Hospital.

"They will head down to Taveuni later in the week where they will visit a number of places there."
